When is The Uncle Sam Jam?

The Uncle Sam Jam will take place on Saturday, July 2nd 2011 at National Harbor.

When does the event start?

Gates will open at 2pm.

When/where will the artists be playing?

Bands and DJs will be playing throughout the festival on three stages starting at 2pm. INDEPENDENCE STAGE:
2:00-2:45pm: Lethal Peanut
3:15-4:15pm: Doug Segree
4:45-6:00pm: Pat McGee Band
6:45-8:00pm: The Wailers
8:00-8:45pm: Mix Master Mike
8:45-10:00pm: Blind Melon
*Flounders Mashups will be spinning in between sets beginning at 2pm

CONSTITUTION STAGE:
2:00-5:30pm: DJ Chris Styles
5:30-9:00pm: DJ Image
9:00-10:00pm: Mix Master Mike

FREEDOM STAGE (VIP ONLY):
3:00-3:30pm: Lethal Peanut (acoustic)
4:00-4:30pm: The Wailers (acoustic)

What does my VIP ticket get me?

VIP Ticketholders will enjoy an exclusive express registration and entrance, and will receive five (5) complimentary drink tickets upon entry. VIP's will also enjoy exclusive access to the Sunset Room Party Deck (which overlooks the main stage) and Freedom Stage, where there will be private acoustical performances by Pat McGee Band, The Wailers, Blind Melon, and Lethal Peanut. DJ Maskell will spin during band breaks. There will also be private bars, indoor bathrooms and air conditioning. We feel the VIP area also provides the best view to watch the fireworks celebration that will be shot off from the pier.

How can I reprint my ticket if I lost the email with my tickets?

I would like to transfer my ticket(s). How do I do this?

Tickets purchased through Xorbia can be used by any other person pending they are 21+.

Can I just show a copy of my ticket on my cell phone?

Yes, however the entire ticket (w/ visible barcode) must be visible on your phone. Just having a confirmation email will not suffice.

Do I have to be 21 to enter?

Yes, The Uncle Sam Jam is only for those 21+

Can I bring my own food and/or beverages?

No food or beverages will be permitted to be brought into or out of the event. Food and beverages will be available for sale at numerous locations throughout the venue.

Is there a happy hour?

Yes, between the hours of 2–5pm, if you buy 4 drink tickets, you will receive one for free. These tickets can be redeemed until 10pm.

How do I purchase food & drinks at the event?

Throughout each of the event areas you may purchase drink tickets. Drink tickets can then be used for sponsored beer, spirits, red bull and water in all event areas. Food is purchased using cash only from the various food vendors...so, BRING CASH WITH YOU!!

Can I bring my pet?

Sorry pets are not permitted unless necessary for our disabled guests.

How long will drinks be served?

All bars are scheduled to open at 2pm and close at 10pm, however the event reserves the right to discontinue service, at any time, to any person or persons.

Once I have checked into the festival can I leave then re-enter?

Yes, re-entry is possible into festival as long as you have your event wristband.

What items are not allowed into The Uncle Sam Jam?

PROHIBITED ITEMS:
1. Metal, plastic, glass containers of any kind
2. Backpacks and large bags
3. Outside food and beverages
4. Weapons and Illegal substances
5. Folding chairs
Notice: The Uncle Sam Jam Staff or Security Personnel are not allowed to hold or check any items not allowed into the venue.

What does "rain or shine" mean?

It means that the event will go on regardless of the weather conditions (rain, hail, etc.).
No refunds will be issued due to inclement weather.
